Photograph the start, the junctions, the huts, and the top, and add them in the order you walked. Note the trail name and the colour of its marking, the distance, the climb, and where to find water.
Check the forecast and the Mountain Rescue Service (PSS) updates before you go, carry water and warm layers, and stay on the marked trail. Leave no trace, and respect closed trails, protected areas, and private land.
Plan the whole route before you start, not just the next stop.
Respect private property, restricted areas, and local law. Take care on difficult terrain, and do not photograph people without their permission.
