From feed signal to trustworthy Garbamons article
Automation should discover and enrich story candidates; editorial rules should decide what becomes public.
Ingest widely, publish carefully
RSS and APIs are excellent discovery tools, but technical access is not the same as permission to republish. The feed layer stores metadata and a source link, then routes the candidate through deduplication, relevance, rights, and evidence checks.
The default Garbamons output is an original summary or a link card. Full-text reuse is reserved for a known license or contract, and hosted video stays in the official embed player.
The four rights states
- LINK_ONLY: summarize in original words and send readers to the source.
- EMBED_ONLY: keep hosted media on the official player.
- LICENSED_REUSE: follow the contract's fields, term, territory, and attribution rules.
- OPEN_REUSE: adapt only within the item's actual CC, CC0, or public-domain terms.
A candidate is not an article yet
The feed radar on this page is intentionally reviewable. It is the beginning of the workflow that can later connect to a durable editorial queue, scheduled jobs, and an admin review screen without changing the public article model.
